Royal Oostenrijk Group brings educational adventures within reach with ‘The Discovery Bus’

Amsterdam – Royal Oostenrijk Group is proud to launch ‘The Discovery Bus’ in collaboration with the Youth Education Fund (Jeugdeducatiefonds) and the Cultural Fund (Cultuurfonds). This unique joint initiative makes educational trips accessible again for primary school children, especially at a time when many schools face tight budgets and logistical challenges.

As costs rise, more and more primary schools are forced to cancel outings to key educational destinations such as castles, museums and nature reserves. For children from low-income families, this often means fewer opportunities to explore new worlds and broaden their horizons.

With The Discovery Bus, the three organisations offer free coach transport to cultural and natural destinations across the Netherlands for schools affiliated with the Youth Education Fund. “We believe that every child should have access to culture and nature, regardless of their financial situation at home,” says Royal Oostenrijk Group. “That’s why we’re happy to dedicate our expertise and resources to making these adventures possible for all children.”

Primary schools affiliated with the Youth Education Fund will soon receive more information about when The Discovery Bus is available for bookings through the application system.
