Royal Oostenrijk Group brings educational adventures within reach with ‘De Ontdekkingsbus’

Amsterdam – The Royal Oostenrijk Group is proud to launch the ‘De Ontdekkingsbus’ initiative together with the Jeugdeducatiefonds and the Cultuurfonds. This unique collaborative project makes educational outings for primary school children attainable and accessible once again, precisely at a time when many schools are struggling with limited budgets and logistical challenges.
Because of rising costs, more and more primary schools are giving up on school trips to important educational destinations such as castles, museums and nature reserves. For children from families with less financial room, this unfortunately means fewer chances to discover new worlds and broaden their horizons.
With the Ontdekkingsbus, the three partner organisations offer schools affiliated with the Jeugdeducatiefonds free coach transport to cultural and natural destinations in the Netherlands. “We believe every child should have access to culture and nature, regardless of the financial situation at home,” says the Royal Oostenrijk Group. “That's why we are glad to put our expertise and resources to work to make these adventures possible for all children.”
Primary schools affiliated with the Jeugdeducatiefonds will soon be informed when De Ontdekkingsbus is available for bookings through the request system.
